Market Information For Southern Jefferson County

Just an update on stuff for 2010.

In the southern Jefferson county area it looks like we have 628 homes for sale.  Surprisingly the biggest category is in the $500,000 to 1,00,000 range.  It also has a very high closure rate. Second is the $250,000 – 350,000.

I  think the federal tax credit is helping move the housing industry.  If you are thinking of selling, now would be a great time to begin as we are past the holidays.  The Tax Credit extends to sellers and helps buyers also that want to buy your home. Interest rates continue to be very low, hovering around 5% +/- a bit. 

Also, if you are thinking about a refinance, we know some very good lenders.
